Collier County Sheriff’s Office |
The Senior Advocacy unit of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office is a specialized unit whose goal is to help create a safe community for our aging population. Unit members provide crime prevention education, assist the elderly who have been victims of crime, and provide referrals to community partners and outside resources. The unit also coordinates the county’s Project Lifesaver program for autistic person and dementia patients who may wander. Citizens can also obtain the File of Life through our office. File of Life is a way to provide important medical information to first responders in an emergency.
